The Lyric Opera of Melbourne invites you to celebrate its upcoming 2012 season of spectacular opera with its Gala Concert and Season Launch, held at the elegant Rippon Lea Estate on Wednesday 15 February 2012.
The Gala will introduce two operas to be performed as a double bill in April at Chapel off Chapel, Trouble in Tahiti (Bernstein) and The Red Apple (Offenbach). This year’s wonderful line up of opera artists includes Caroline Vercoe, Michael Lapina, Matthew Thomas and Julie Torpy.
