Paw-don me for barging in, but as your trusted culture manager (and resident good boy), I couldn’t let summer pass without some tail-wagging tips for keeping us pets safe and happy. After all, nothing puts a damper on sunny adventures like a hot mess—literally! So, let’s dig into my tried-and-true advice for a paws-itively perfect summer:

Stay hydrated. Humans, make sure our water bowls are always full, and don’t forget those ice cubes. They’re the ulti-mutt summer treat. A thirsty pup is no fun, and nobody wants to deal with a case of the dry drools.

Check the ground before we pound the pavement. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s fur sure too hot for my paws. Let’s keep our walks cool and comfy, or carry me like the royalty I am ifyou must.

A little fur trim goes a long way, but no shaving! My coat isn’t just a fashion statement; it’s my built-in sunscreen. Trust me, I didn’t grow this floof for you to buzz back to bare!

Sunscreen for the win! If we’re hitting the beach (yay!), grab some pet-safe sunscreen and slather it on my nose. Nobody wants a sunburned snoot—it’s ruff.

So, go ahead and soak up that sunshine, but let’s play it safe. Keep us cool, comfy, and wagging our tails all summer long. And remember, the only thing we want
sizzling this season is the BBQ, not our paws!

Oh, bonjour! Louis here, the most sophisticated poodle on the block, and I must say, I’ve recently become intrigued by a most dazzling little creature – the Blue Banded Bee. Have you seen one? Oh, those metallic blue stripes! Très chic! It’s like the haute couture of the insect world. I could imagine wearing a scarf inspired by its pattern.

But this bee isn’t just pretty. It’s important (like me). It does something called “buzz pollination.” It shakes flowers to get the pollen out! Apparently, without this buzzing, some plants wouldn’t grow food properly. Tomatoes, for instance. I do enjoy sniffing a good tomato plant in the garden.

I admire its dedication, but buzzing all day? Exhausting. I’m looking forward to a summer full of naps while the bees take care of the nature’s magic. Buzz on, little friend! 🐝

With just 33 days of spring left, I can hardly wait for summer to roll in.

Carlton is my paradise, a neighbourhood bursting with life. Those beautiful Victorian homes are perfect for sniffing out new scents, and the busy streets are full of friendly faces and playful pups.

The parks are my favourite spots - endless space to run, roll in the grass, and chase after sticks. And those café smells? They make my tail wag like crazy.
