This week, Cobar Consolidated Resources (ASX: CCU) took to the road, conducting a series of investor briefings in some of Australia’s major capital cities.
The focus was to highlight the growth in silver demand and its growing number of applications in the modern world.
The presentations in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth also sought to update the investor community on progress at CCU’s Wonawinta silver project, the largest ‘pure’ silver project in Australia.
The project is expected to progress rapidly from exploration to development with the first production of silver bullion forecasted to take place as early as next year.
The briefings were a great success. Attendees were asked to enter a competition to guess the weight of a selection of silver items in ounces. Congratulations to our winners, who each received their very own piece of silver.
A further presentation is scheduled to take place in Brisbane in late August.
