Pesel & Carr’s expertise in the education arena has been recognised internationally with a Gold Quill award win.
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) awarded Pesel & Carr a Gold Quill in the Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication category for our work with Caroline Chisholm Catholic College in Braybrook.
Our campaign, To sing from the same hymn book: Creating a new voice for Caroline Chisholm Catholic College developed a new brand and messaging to attract and safeguard student enrolments.
Formed by the merger of three schools, the College faced challenges including inconsistent messaging, diverse stakeholders and an almost total absence of public awareness of its achievements.
The entry detailed our success in identifying the College’s “DNA”, creating one organisational voice and building awareness in the community – ultimately contributing to the long-term vision of the College as the leading choice in its area.
The latest gong joins a growing collection of “silverware” in our boardroom, including a previous Gold Quill in 2015, and awards from the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
The IABC is a global network of communication professionals committed to improving organisational effectiveness through strategic communication. The Gold Quill Awards were judged by a panel of international leaders in the public relations profession and industry sector representatives.
For more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognised and awarded excellence in strategic communication worldwide.
An Excellence Awards Gala will be held in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, 13 June, 2017.
