Pesel & Carr kick starts 2017

It has been an exciting start to 2017 for the team at Pesel & Carr with new clients, faces (some furrier than others) and projects to kick off the year.

We welcome our first new client of 2017 Marlin Home, the Australian homewares subsidiary of South African investment house Coast2Coast Capital. We have been engaged to support media and stakeholder communications as the company builds their acquisition portfolio with the medium-term plan to list on the ASX. Watch this space…

Marlin Home joins several other new clients that have recently come on board including Independent Schools Victoria, Mancini Real Estate and Smϋthe, a range of natural coffee body scrubs.

Looking forward, we have been tasked with new projects for Forest & Wood Products Australia including promoting an international architect tour in Australia and supporting day-to-day stakeholder communications.

Say hello to Louis the standard poodle! Our newest four-legged member of the team, Louis never fails to put a smile on  faces – staff and visitors alike. He’s such a gentle giant that we can’t praise his guard dog skills…

We also welcome Rebecca Giarrusso as Assistant Account Executive having recently completed an Advanced Diploma of Business (Public Relations) at RMIT and an internship with us. We believe her warm personality, commitment to results and skills in digital media will see her flourish in public relations.

Congratulations to Amanda Cirillo who has been promoted to Senior Account Executive nearing her third successful year with Pesel & Carr, doing award-winning work with clients across a range of industries. Amanda’s strengths lie in fostering client relationships, managing social media and implementing strategic communications.

Our Managing Director Barbara Pesel  shared her insights from more than 25 years in the communications industry as part of the League of Extraordinary Women’s panel event, All things digital, marketing, PR and branding, on Thursday 2nd February in Southbank. The speakers discussed brand experience in the digital age and PR and marketing tactics that set a brand apart.
