We recently came across an interesting infographic created by Dan Zarrella surrounding how to get more followers for your brand on Twitter.
Dan’s research points out five steps you can take to increase your chances of gaining more followers. The first step is ‘show us who you are’ by providing the essential Twitter information: a bio, homepage link and picture.
His next points suggest to stop talking about only yourself/your brand, make the effort to reply to and interact with followers and identify yourself ‘authoritatively’ using words such as ‘expert’ and ‘guru’.
Finally, Dan suggests to simply stop being a ‘Debbie Downer’ – don’t tweet negative remarks.
