Experience Victoria’s summer of sailing at the 2013 ISAF Sailing World Cup

The world’s best Olympic athletes will take to the water this December 1 – 8 as the annual ISAF Sailing World Cup returns to Melbourne, launching Victoria’s summer of sailing.

The ISAF Sailing World Cup – Melbourne is the second stop of the global 2013-14 ISAF World Cup Series and Australia’s premier event for Olympic class sailing. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Sandringham Yacht Club, the Cup offers something for everyone, with a calendar of unique on-shore events giving corporates, groups and individuals the opportunity to embrace the sailing lifestyle.

The ‘ISAF Sailing World Cup Couta Boat Challenge and Luncheon’ on Friday 6 December offers the chance to get your feet wet and be truly immersed in the on-water action. The morning will see guests compete on board the iconic Couta boats for a race on Port Phillip, followed by a delicious lunch at Sandringham Yacht Club Harbour View Restaurant, providing a distinctive corporate entertainment platform for your Christmas party or client function.

The final days of the Cup will celebrate the ‘Bayside City Council Summer of Sailing’ Family Weekend over December 7 – 8, giving families an introduction to the world of sailing with a range of on and off-water activities as spectators enjoy world class racing from the balcony of the yacht club.
