easy-forex® backing the Bulldogs

Pioneer online trading group easy-forex® today celebrated its major three-year sponsorship of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NRL team with a never-before-seen rugby play-off in the centre of Sydney’s financial heartland.

Managing Director of easy-forex® Asia Pacific, Robert Francis was there to launch and celebrate the exciting sponsorship, which will see the company’s relationship with the Bulldogs extend until at least the end of the 2015 season.

“We are thrilled and proud to support the Bulldogs as they continue to establish themselves as one the most successful NRL teams. We share the same values and we understand the importance of maintaining a strong commitment to our communities,” said Robert.

“Why the Bulldogs? Because we see many similarities between the game of rugby and currency trading; it’s all about quick, strategic moves to win the game, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with such a professional and dedicated team.”

At the celebration, Sydneysiders were given the unique opportunity to go one-on-one to score a try against NRL stars including James Graham and Steve Turner, along with Under 21s Bulldogs captain Moses Mbye and Bulldogs legends Barry Ward and Terry Lamb on a mini rugby pitch at busy lunchtime Martin Place.

The major bottom back-of-jersey sponsorship follows a very successful two-month stint for easy-forex® as Bulldogs shorts sponsor in 2012.

Bulldogs Chief Executive, Todd Greenberg commented, “We are delighted that an international company like easy-forex® shares in the Bulldogs vision and has committed to another three years. It is a coup for the Bulldogs and shows how we have gone from strength to strength and helps build a sustainable financial future.”

easy-forex® has a great relationship with the team and with individual players. Bulldog Dene Halatau knows all about forex trading, with his quick moves on the field as well as trading online sure to lead to lots of wins.

“easy-forex® understands you need dedicated support and I’ve been guided every step of the way since I started trading with them. It’s great that I can keep honing and developing my trading skills,” said Dene.

There will be various opportunities for Bulldogs fans to learn how to trade currencies online throughout the season, with fan interaction and pop-up stands at home games.

Robert Francis added, “We believe the Bulldogs can succeed in 2013 and look forward to being there and backing them all the way. We’re also very excited to be announcing the launch of our World Trade Series (WTS) campaign and the chance for one lucky winner to kick for one million dollars. Stay tuned for more.”
