Drake Resources announces exciting new projects

Australian exploration company Drake Resources (ASX: DRK) which focuses on gold and copper in West Africa and Scandinavia has had several exciting announcements recently. The company has just secured a new highly prospective gold project in Guinea and three copper joint ventures in Norway.

Drake is also currently going through a rebranding process to reflect its growing status. This will include a new website and company collateral including a corporate snapshot and posters.

Drake has advanced and highly prospective projects in West Africa, where the focus is on gold, and copper in Scandinavia. They have a strategic landholding south of the Tasiast gold mine in Mauritania, a premier position in Norway with landholdings in four major copper belts including Løkken and a range of other West African projects in Mauritania, Senegal and Guinea, with the company’s priority in 2012 to drill test all its main gold projects.

Drake will be exhibiting at the upcoming Mining Indaba conference in Cape Town on February 6 – 9, as well as Mines & Money Hong Kong in March.
