Celebrate Silver with Spirit!

TT Line, operators of the iconic Spirit of Tasmania ships is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. As part of their celebrations they are inviting members of the public to share stories of their own special silver milestones.

If 2010 marks a silver wedding anniversary, quarter of a century in a particular job or welcoming a 25th grandchild, we want to hear about it and what’s more, there’s over $6,000 worth of prizes to be won!

Spirit of Tasmania CEO Charles Griplas, said, ‘We are delighted that Spirit of Tasmania has reached the grand age of 25 and are proud to be delivering a safe, reliable and stress free journey between Devonport and Melbourne almost every night of the year. It will be wonderful to hear the stories of people around Australia who are also celebrating their own 25th milestone as we would like to celebrate with them! ‘

Tasmanian cricket legend Max Walker will be judging the submissions, along with renowned Tasmanian author Christine Booth and Spirit of Tasmania CEO Charles Griplas.

To enter, all people have to do is go online to spiritoftasmania.com.au/celebrate-with-spirit and tell in 100 words what silver anniversary they are celebrating this year. Submissions will be assessed on the basis of their creativity and uniqueness and the impressive nature of the achievement.

The best 25 entries will receive a $250 Spirit of Tasmania gift voucher so they can experience a voyage on board Spirit of Tasmania. With a variety of on board accommodation, entertainment facilities, elegant dining facilities and even an onboard movie cinema, it is guaranteed to be a trip to remember!
