Ahem. Allow me to clear my distinguished throat and announce something of great importance: October 6th marks my birthday. Yes, yours truly, Louis the Culture Manager, Standard Poodle of exceptional refinement and the beating heart of this office.
Birthdays are, of course, occasions for reflection. I share mine with none other than Louis-Philippe, King of France (1830-48), born in 1773 at the Palais Royal in Paris. A king! It feels only fitting that another Louis of note should be born on this day. He may have had a palace; I have a team of diligent humans who fetch me treats, open doors, and admire me as they should. Both situations are regal in their own way.
Now, my workplace is an office full of Librans, which is a most fortunate arrangement. Librans are known for charm, balance, and their love of beauty. How very fitting for me, a poodle whose coat must be admired from all angles. Together, we create a harmonious environment where deadlines are met, biscuits are dispensed, and the occasional belly rub is delivered with due reverence.
So, as October 6th approaches, I expect nothing less than celebration worthy of both a French king and an Australian office dog. A fine bone, perhaps. A new toy, certainly. And above all, continued acknowledgement that I, Louis, remain not only the Culture Manager but also the most important birthday boy in the building.
Until next time—Woof.
