As this year’s ISAF Sailing World Cup, Sail Melbourne draws closer, organisers are placing a big focus on the fashion, music and lifestyle elements of the event.

The Cup runs from 13-18 December at Sandringham Yacht Club and brings together the finest sailors from across the globe. The event encapsulates the glamour and excitement synonymous with the world of sailing with fashion, fun and summer spirit being incorporated across all aspects of the lifestyle driven sports entertainment platform. It’s the diverse range of entertainment on offer that sets the Cup apart from other sailing events with some of the freshest beach-house sounds around the venue and striking fashions on show.

Ladies from across the globe will soak up the glitz and glamour of the sailing lifestyle with the event’s official Ladies Day, happening on Wednesday 15 December. As the sailing elite takes to the water, guests will be invited to sit back and enjoy the sumptuous food, wine and fashion and a host of entertainment all set to the spectacular backdrop of Port Phillip Bay. Ladies will receive gorgeous gift bags and have the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes. Amongst all the glamour on Ladies Day there is a serious purpose, with money raised going towards the important work of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Celebrity stylist and fashion personality Amber Renae will be on hand to MC at the event.

At the Sailing World Cup Lifestyle Party, happening on Saturday December 18, guests will be invited to celebrate and party into the night on Sandringham Yacht Club’s elegant balcony. Fashion parades and some of the coolest, freshest summer beats from Melbourne based DJs will see the city’s social scene mingle with sporting champions as the sun sets over the water.

The signature style will be integrated into all of the corporate entertainment associated with the Cup, and will be achieved thanks to a partnership with Solution Entertainment.

The fashions on show across both events will come courtesy of top local design talent and will be brought together by Melbourne stylist Tessa O’Connor. Fashions will incorporate a range of flowing pastels by designers MLY and EverLayne as well as bold summer inspired prints from Modern Lovers. Other featured designers include Anna Campbell, Dream World, Made in Donald, Eva Q and Tobey. All fashions will be sported by models provided by Giant Management.
