Barbara Pesel

Managing Director MPRIA, AICD

Barbara has become a respected partner to the executives of growing organisations, drawing on more than 25 years’ experience in corporate communication with a focus on issues/risk and crisis management, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning.

Well regarded in her target industries, Barbara’s wide market knowledge supports her critical strengths in balancing broad business issues with the most effective communication program to produce substantial and measurable results. As a consequence, she enjoys the confidence of many senior business leaders and a wide network of loyal clients and suppliers. Barbara increasingly works with CEOs and senior executives to plan risk management strategies and to address issues.

Barbara has sat on numerous boards and has held positions including chair of the Lygon Street Festa and judge on the Telstra Business Women’s Awards panel. She currently sits on the Leadership Committee for Whitelion Inc and is a board member of the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

Glenister Lamont

Investor Relations Director
BEng (Hons), MBA (IMD Switzerland), FAICD, FFin

Glenister has worked with companies including UBS, Woodside, Ashton Mining and a top 200 healthcare company as an executive director, investor relations executive and an external advisor. He provided leadership during the defence of Ashton Mining from a hostile takeover and covered activities surrounding Australia’s largest ever export contract for Woodside. Glenister was rated by BRW and FPRG surveys consistently among the top five analysts across a range of sectors.

These roles have also encompassed considerable work on governance and its impact on investor perceptions and this expertise is re-enforced by his board positions with listed companies, including his current role of Chairman at Strategic Energy Resources.



Glen Rohan

Director

Glen has more than 35 years experience in media and publishing. He was at the inception of a number of community newspapers including the inner-city award-winning paper, The Melbourne Times, which he presided over as editor for 25 years. He has extensive contacts with journalists, many of whom he worked with over his expansive career, as well as local and state governments.

Glen completed a six-year stint in 2010 with Melbourne's Fairfax Community Network where he managed the team of reporters, photographers, artists and editors across 33 community newspapers and magazines. He is also a director of a print company and two media companies and his valued opinion and was appointed as a Director at Pesel & Carr in 2008.

Richard Liistro

Director

Richard has more than 15 years’ marketing and communications experience in Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He lived in Japan for 10 years working for global and local communication firms. Prior to joining Pesel & Carr, Richard was the International Accounts Division Group Manager for COSMO Public Relations and worked in a bi-lingual, multi-cultural environment to develop communication strategies and oversee the execution of programs including key opinion leader management, corporate citizenship, brand building, internal communications and event management, and sponsorship programs for various clients, including British Airways, Expedia, Google, Norwegian Seafood Export Council, Gallo Wines, Durex, Royal Bank of Scotland and supported consumer communications for various pharmaceutical and medical device brands.

Richard also worked at Hill & Knowlton Tokyo overseeing the agencies global and regional accounts including the Almond Board of California and DSM Nutritional Products. Richard's strong written and verbal communications skills and project management skills enable him to liaise with affiliates across the Asia-Pacific region and in the U.S. and EU. At Pesel & Carr Richard oversees the running of the firm’s core practices and strategy development for various clients.


Lauren Garnet

Consultant

Lauren studied public relations and journalism at Deakin University in Melbourne and honed her communications skills in a variety of internships and volunteer positions including Whitehorse City Council, Cosmopolitan Magazine and L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.

Lauren has been with Pesel & Carr since 2010 and as well as heading the Digital team, works across a wide range of clients and industries such as Spirit of Tasmania, the Melbourne leg of the ISAF Sailing World Cup and not-for-profit Whitelion, as well as resource clients Aura Energy, Stellar Resources and Oil Basins.

Jono Francisco

Consultant

Jono has worked as a public relations director, creative, advertising and marketing manager and has extensive experience in major events, creative concepts, styling and publicity. He has also worked as an account manager at levels of communications, in all mediums including press, online, print, television, radio, outdoor advertising, events and experiential for major international brands, music artists and festivals, entertainment, fashion design houses, film and hospitality.

Having worked in the UK, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney and Melbourne and well-travelled elsewhere, Jono’s network of contacts and industry experience is highly developed. His creative flare and fashion skills are an invaluable asset to Pesel & Carr.

 

Rima Zraika

Administration & Accounts Manager

Rima has more than 20 years’ experience in office administration and accounts management and works for various clients and industries. 

Rima has been with Pesel & Carr since its inception and is an office all rounder, including director's personal assistant, staff induction, client administration, supplier liaison, event management and supporting consultants.
