Well regarded in her target industries, Barbara’s wide market knowledge supports her critical strengths in balancing broad business issues with the most effective communication program to produce substantial and measurable results. Barbara increasingly works with CEOs and senior executives to plan risk management strategies and to address issues.
Barbara has sat on numerous boards and has held positions including chair of the Lygon Street Festa and judge on the Telstra Business Women’s Awards panel. She currently sits on the Leadership Committee for Whitelion Inc and is a board member of the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

Glenister Lamont
Investor Relations Director

Glenister has worked with companies including UBS, Woodside, Ashton Mining and a top 200 healthcare company as an executive director, investor relations executive and an external advisor. He provided leadership during the defence of Ashton Mining from a hostile takeover and covered activities surrounding Australia’s largest ever export contract for Woodside. Glenister was rated by BRW and FPRG surveys consistently among the top five analysts across a range of sectors.
These roles have also encompassed considerable work on governance and its impact on investor perceptions and this expertise is re-enforced by his board positions with listed companies, including his current role of Chairman at Strategic Energy Resources.

Richard Liistro
Director
Richard has more than 15 years’ marketing and communications experience in Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He lived in Japan for 10 years working for global and local communication firms. Prior to joining Pesel & Carr, Richard was the International Accounts Division Group Manager for COSMO Public Relations and worked in a bilingual, multicultural environment to develop communication strategies and oversee the execution of programs including key opinion leader management, corporate citizenship, brand building, internal communications and event management, and sponsorship programs for various clients, including British Airways, Expedia, Google, Norwegian Seafood Export Council, Gallo Wines, Durex, Royal Bank of Scotland and supported consumer communications for various pharmaceutical and medical device brands.
Richard also worked at Hill & Knowlton Tokyo overseeing the agencies global and regional accounts including the Almond Board of California and DSM Nutritional Products. Richard's strong written and verbal communications skills and project management skills enable him to liaise with affiliates across the Asia-Pacific region and in the U.S. and EU. At Pesel & Carr Richard oversees the running of the firm’s core practices and strategy development for various clients.

Lauren Garnet
Senior Account Executive
Lauren studied public relations and journalism at Deakin University in Melbourne and honed her communications skills in a variety of internships and volunteer positions including Whitehorse City Council, Cosmopolitan Magazine and L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Lauren has been with Pesel & Carr since 2010 and works across all aspects of the business including projects with the ISAF Sailing World Cup, online currency trader Easy-forex, not-for-profit organisations Open Family Australia and Whitelion, and mining and resource clients Aura Energy, Drake Resources, Stellar Resources and Oil Basins.

Sally Cotching
Consultant
Sally is in her final year of studying her Bachelor in Public Relations at Deakin University and has completed a Diploma in Fashion Merchandising at RMIT. Sally has a background in fashion and retail having worked with brands such as Jayson Brunsdon, Bardot and Mossman Clothing; with experience ranging from event management and social media to communications planning. Her role at Pesel & Carr is to assist account managers in creating effective communication strategies, working with clients such as Fonebank, easy-forex and Drake Resources.

Alison Coffa
Consultant
Alison is a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) final year student at Deakin University, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism. She currently holds the title of Communications Manager for national theatre website Theatre People, managing their social media activities and event management. She has a strong writing background and this year has undertaken the role of Co-Editor in Chief of the Deakin University student magazine, Crossfire. Alison’s work at Pesel & Carr has introduced her to a variety of clients, including Lyric Opera of Melbourne, Open Family Australia & Whitelion, mlcoa and Fonebank.
